MITER Unveils New Guidelines for Defending Against Cyber Attacks
The nonprofit MITER Corp has released a new guide called MITER Shield, offering techniques and tactics to proactively protect computer networks from cyberattacks.
The new framework is a publicly available knowledge base, with the help of which information security specialists will be able to form a strategy for interacting with attackers and take measures for more active protection against cyber attacks.
The guide contains eight sections on various security tactics, including API monitoring, behavioral analysis, email manipulation, decoy creation (fake accounts, networks, credentials), system activity monitoring, and more.
