Cybercriminal group BlackShadow has carried out a major cyberattack on the Israeli insurance company Shirbit. Attackers gained access to information about many government officials.
The Capital Markets Authority and Israel's National Cyber Directorate have confirmed in a joint statement the cyber attack on Shirbit.

The BlackShadow group claimed responsibility for the attack, bragging about their success in a series of Twitter posts that contained images of some of the information they received, as well as technical details apparently intended to demonstrate the scale of the attack.
One of the documents released by the group contained personal details, including the home address and telephone numbers of Tel Aviv District Court Chairman Gilad Neutal.
