In his speech, the politician noted that the next five-year plan in our country "should become digital."
Turchin also said that Belarus owes its GDP growth primarily to the High-Tech Park. At the same time, the official expressed the opinion that the HTP is a good example in terms of retaining personnel in the country: they say that people from the IT sector not only stop leaving, but vice versa - they return to Belarus.
- The growth rate of our Park and our IT industry is an order of magnitude superior to all other industries and spheres. In fact, the small GDP growth that our country has, we owe primarily to the High-Tech Park. And the fact that we can not only stop the brain drain, but also turn it around, showed and proved the OEM. Today, Belarus’s IT industry in terms of its contribution to GDP is on a par with the agricultural sector, ”said Alexander Turchin. - Digital technologies are not superficial, not cosmetic, but essentially change production, logistics, trade, financial and overall economic models. They are changing consumption patterns.
